Hello,

My name is Cassie, I am a single mother of 3 Zebras. Now for those of you who do not know what a Zebra is in regards to kids, let me explain. The Zebra is a mascot for what is known as Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. EDS is not an easy diagnosis as this diagnosis does not have one set of symptoms. The variety of symptoms and ever changing treatment and/ or symptoms make this rare genetic disorder a challenge to balance on any regular day. In the coming days and weeks I am going to be writting about how our journey started and what was good, bad and ugly about this journey. We are never promised an easy life or journey. We are told to be a light to the world. My prayer is that this can be a light in someone’s valley.
